The greatest challenge as an energy healer is that all the programming of our personalities and dualistic nature can assert itself at any time. When that happens, it takes all the training one has to step out of the way, to connect instead to The Great Mystery. It is why rigorous training is so important. It is also why rigorous spiritual growth to expand our consciousness, is also so key. Given that the dividing line is so fragile, it is why I will always be humble as an energy healer.

Emptying

I remember when I started self-healing techniques, I began to learn about the chakras and their colors. I would stand out on the front porch every day at some point, and imagine red bathing my first chakra, then orange my second, yellow my third, the new green in my heart, sky blue in my throat, indigo in my 3^rd eye, and then violet at my crown.
