Healing the inner child is often a matter of healing your inner children. This meditation has an incredible gift for that healing in that it connects to your own soul to give the healing, to heal a part of yourself that knows you better than you know yourself, and loves you more than you could ever love yourself.
This is a very powerful meditation. Once you start you may be called by many of your inner children over the next few days. Pay attention as they may be very quiet. I was doing the dishes once and had a sense of a presence. In my mind’s eye I saw a six-year-old girl off in a corner. She was very quiet and highly intuitive. I am so glad I didn’t miss the awareness of her because she has so many gifts of intuition for me to integrate, and the chaotic household of my upbringing had not found a place for her. I have a place for that part of myself now!
This is also a meditation to do for a myriad of issues big and small that you may be facing. Sometimes I do the same meditation for a core issue for 10 days or more, until there is some genuine movement.
Heal a Part of Yourself that Needs Healing
Settle yourself into a meditative state. Sit with your spine straight, or lie down.
Find a compassionate place in your heart. A place of kindness towards yourself.
Breathe deeply for 5 minutes or so.
Ask for a part of you that needs healing to come before you. (Or ask about a specific issue that you are struggling with.)
Spend some time absorbing his or her presence, what she/he looks like, what her/his feelings are. Describe your sense of them. This could be a feeling, a vision, a knowing, or in words.
Ask your Divine Mother, Infinite Soul to come give him/her a healing. Repeat this request as often as necessary. Continue for about 10 minutes
Over time repeat the meditation, asking other parts of you to come forward for healing.
